Default HobbyWorld in Gilroy Not Only For Carpet

This facility is in Gilroy, Ca just south of San Jose. Indoor carpet and outdoor off road. I think it is the only year round carpet track in Ca. The indoor carpet track is layed out in an old skate rink. The outdoor track is set up for 1/10 and 1/8 scale. AMBRC scoring and timing.

Yeah, its freaking 85 plus in that building on Friday nights because the owner wont turn the A/C on. If they want to run carpet during the summer then they better make it worth the racers time to travel. Otherwise they should focus on thier offroad and wait until winter.

Not too much anymore. We're trying to get him back out, but Friday nights are tough for him to make it.

Dog: Are we gonna be able to the the race for Keith's dad soon?

Optimistic about this winter when all the outdoor racing finally packs it in the shed and we get our carpet racing back!

BTW: I think Lawrence is doing Hobbytown and RAMS...I saw him at both venues when I made it down there

Does this track have a website? I am interesting in coming up and practicing/racing to prepare for the indoor season.

Thanks

Todd the website is being redone. The carpet track is open 6 days a week for practice. On Sundays, the carpet track is closed. We run the off road program on that day. Practice is from 10am to store closing. Sat/Mon 7pm - Tue/Thur 8pm - Fri race night

TBK - Looks like we'll have the benifit race for Killer Keith's Dad on September 18th. Check back here for the offical word.

The off road track in Gilroy is set up for both nitro and electric. We had to close the off road track in San Jose, because of noise problems with neighbors. Come on down, I've got a Kanai 2 waiting for you!!! LOL
