Rod...No I'm still running the 416XL (Exotek Chassis), I think.. the 417 will be available at Tamiya USA January sometime. I decided to let Diego Run 1/12 only for On-road so he can get more track time. He is going to run 2 , 1/12 classes at the birds. See you soon..

Any truth to the rumors there may be heat in the building at this race?

Oh vicious rumors and lies! No heat in the building for this race, not sure where that came from. We have only had one race cancelled because of cold weather when it was in the teens outside, and looking at extended forecasts it looks like the high during the day will be upper 50s with lows in the lower 40s at night...with a building full of racers (body heat + hot air) and chargers the inside temp will be 10* or so warmer than outside, so bring a light jacket or sweatshirt and you'll be fine.

EA, I really hope you decide to come down for the race. I have always come home with a wealth of knowledge from races that guys like you have attended. I think with the interest we've had on this thread that the competition should be pretty stout and I know the track conditions will pay off for anyone planning to attend the Birds this year. This is the first of hopefully many great races we would like to have here in MS. and with the support of team drivers like yourself and Fernando it could really help put little old Mississippi on the map.

The race is a week away, why is everybody so quiet?

Also, does any body know if BIG DOG RACING and some of the Mempis Crew is coming. Just won't be the same without Jason.

Later,
Terry

Is there plenty of pit space with tables/electric plug-ins ? Or should we bring our own tables just in case ?

Also does hobby shop have Jaco Blues or Solaris Mediums in stock ? Jaco Blues seem hard to find right now.

Also, we have a few guys that would like to come run the 17.5 spec TC class, but only have a LRP Sphere TC speedo. Can they just run on setting 1 and be legal ? (Thats what we have been doing at our track for those folks)

We should be fine on pit space and outlets. If it runs a little tight we have extra tables so don't worry about packing them. We have Solaris Med. in stock and are trying our best to get our hands on some of the new batch of Jaco Blues. As far as the speedo goes, I'm sure we can set those guys up fair and square to run spec TC. Can't wait to meet you guys next weekend.

T, Big Dog can't make it. He has to work and still doesn't have his new TC. BTW, nice run Thursday! That TCX looks super dialed.

Made a room reservation at the hotel listed with the race info on page 1. They gave me a $55 a night rate, but said that they did not have a event rate of $55 setup for the race. So anyone that makes a reservation will have to specifically ask for the better rate. Otherwise it is $65 a night.

Its on like Donkey Kong. Looking forward to the birthday bash y'all are planning too! You only turn 32 once, right? So where you taking me to dinner Bullwinkle?
Please try to limit the birthday presents to a size that will fit in my car on the way home. Or provide a prepaid and packaged UPS label. Thank you kindly.
