Awesome...bring them all! We are hoping to pull racers from the Atlanta, Dallas, and Memphis areas as well It's looking like a good turnout!

What tire compounds do you recommend for 1/12 scale frt and rear?
Also, what brand 1/12 scale parts do you stock?
thanks

I don't run 1/12th scale but it seems like purple/magenta on the front and gray/lilac rears are working for those who do. We stock Associated and Calandra parts, along with a few Xray essentials. For touring car we have Associated and Xray covered with a few TOP parts. Hope that helps!

Absolutely...open from 10-8 but I will probably stay later if anyone wants to stay and practice.

Fernando, great to hear you are gonna make the trip. I enjoyed meeting and racing with you in Memphis and can't wait to do it again!

Is 17.5 stock meant to be a sportsman class or are people going to be running both 17.5 classes?

17.5 stock sedan is a SPORTSMAN'S class. We encourage the more seasoned racers to run 17.5 Pro-Stock.

Most anywhere in the nation the 17.5 Spec Class will have some heavy hitters in it. Look at results for Indoor Champs, Mid West Grand Slam, Halloween Classic, IIC. 17.5 Spec is seeing names like Martin Crisp, Dave Johnson, up an comer Andrew Hardman.

17.5 Unlimited is now seeing names like Kevin Hebert, Andy More, Mike Dumas, Mike Haynes, the list goes on.

I say run what you like.

It may be tough to get through tech with Jacos.

For this event 17.5 Stock will be reserved for novice/sportsman racers, 17.5 Super Stock is for experienced racers. You know who you are. So do we

I think I may have created some confusion when I posted this:

"Yes we will have plenty in stock as they are our spec tire for club racing, price is $25 per set. I know Mike's in Dallas also runs this tire and there are probably other tracks in the region as well, so if you already have several sets I'm not going to make you buy new tires at the event specifically for this race."

This was in reference to racers who already have the Solaris Medium tire from their home track or from another event; you will not be required to purchase tires at the race if you already have them. You are more than welcome to practice on whatever tire you wish.
