Fernando, great to hear you are gonna make the trip. I enjoyed meeting and racing with you in Memphis and can't wait to do it again!

Is 17.5 stock meant to be a sportsman class or are people going to be running both 17.5 classes?

17.5 stock sedan is a SPORTSMAN'S class. We encourage the more seasoned racers to run 17.5 Pro-Stock.

17.5 Unlimited is now seeing names like Kevin Hebert, Andy More, Mike Dumas, Mike Haynes, the list goes on.
I say run what you like.

Most anywhere in the nation the 17.5 Spec Class will have some heavy hitters in it. Look at results for Indoor Champs, Mid West Grand Slam, Halloween Classic, IIC. 17.5 Spec is seeing names like Martin Crisp, Dave Johnson, up an comer Andrew Hardman.

"Yes we will have plenty in stock as they are our spec tire for club racing, price is $25 per set. I know Mike's in Dallas also runs this tire and there are probably other tracks in the region as well, so if you already have several sets I'm not going to make you buy new tires at the event specifically for this race."
This was in reference to racers who already have the Solaris Medium tire from their home track or from another event; you will not be required to purchase tires at the race if you already have them. You are more than welcome to practice on whatever tire you wish.
