Still trying to organize this. As I mentioned I have use of an AMB system (huge step). I'm still looking for track borders (several leads) and sponsors. Sweep Racing is definitely in, Willis may contribute, and Brooklyn Hobbies may be in if they don't go to the GLC (same weekend).

I'm also going to need volunteers for track set up and take down, plus I need someone to design a track, since I have no clue how to do that.

Alex Valls has agreed to be the Race Director.

Anyone know someone who is a volunteer fireman with access to fire hoses. That's how they do it at the Staten Island Races. Your going to need them just to border out the track.......... Plus I'll help you set-up and tear down the track.

There's a place on the island that sells used fire hose, like $25 a roll. I have to follow up on that. Plus there are a few people with road rails out there, I just have to find them.

Years ago I had talked with Roland about the fire hose and I wanted some for myself. I went to my local fire dept. and lucked up on some hoses that they were getting ready to throw away. Good luck with your race Jim.
