I wanted to come out but I will be right in the middle of moving out west that week, so I never sent my form. I figured maybe my slot would make someone else happy.

Today at SoCal there were quite a few people saying that they heard from Fred that the race didn't even get filled up with entries. I didn't hear it directly from him, but there were enough people saying it to make me believe..

Kinda of sounds selfish but I don't mind that. It's a guaranteed spot in the race for those of us that sent in our forms. That is if it's true

Actually, a week or two prior to the deadline, Fred mentioned that entries were not full and that there were quite a few vacancies. However, after the last minute entries came in he said that they are now over the limit. By how much, I'm not certain but an edumakayted guess would be about thirty?
