I just hope my favorite hobby shop gets the parts I need in.

If people are willing to chip in for the spray it could be done every week or so. Another issue is going out to get the spray, the only store that has it locally is out in long island. Kinda out the way for us to go and get each weekend.

Ok guys, about spraying the track. I think a good happy medium of really good traction that is managable would be 5 gallons of chemicals diluted with 2 gallons of methenol or alchohol. Last time we put down 10 gallons of straight chemicals and even for a traction junkie like myself it was too much. Especially if your not prepared for it, lol. The problem is not only picking the stuff up from LI, it's also the cost. For years I have laid out the money and never had anyone offer to chip in. Last week was the first time anyone else put up money with me. Everyone asks about spraying, but nobody wants to incur any fees. The cost is $100 for a 5 gallon pail and about $10 a gallon for methenol. So that would be $120 to prep the track without gas/tolls for me to get out to long island. Not to mention timing. I am always willing to chip in but need some others to put up too. It's up to you guys, lmk.
