Chris,

Are electric 1/8 buggies allowed to run with the nitros? Any special rules?

I am not sure what to expect for a 1/8 scale crowd this first race.
But come on out
no special rules, I would love to see more electrics

The track has a mixture of clay and carpet jumps. The track has an oval track that is run with offroad in the inside of the oval so when they run offroad the track used some of the oval and the owner adds the carpet jumps to give the track extra jumps and also allows weekly layout changes if so desired. Its that or no offroad during the winter within 3 hours so many will find it different but still have offroad racing close to them.

Looking at coming up to bumps and jumps again this winter for some Slash racing. All of my other offroad stuff is gone in favor of onroad, but I have a Slash, and would enjoy racing it. Its been quite a while since I have been to a race at BnJ, and can't wait to try it out again. I might be able to con a few locals into coming out for Slash racing too, as we have quite a few people with them here.

I am going to change some stuff to try and get it to flow a little better.
In Europe they run exclusively on carpet jumps. Rands told me there club races average 100 entries - oh in 2wd mod.
Losiracer12 - I would think if they can drive on them you are certainly good enough to drive on them too. I understand if you don't like them after you tried them but like my mother used to tell me how do you know you don't like it if you have never even tried it?

I personally liked the spec dirthawg although I am sure we won't go to it, but if we did everyone would have had the same traction as WYD.
speaking of I figured out how bad your car was when marshalling the main - the small jump before the double you had to roll in order to clear the double - everyone else was jumping out about 3 to 4 feet and still clearing the double.

Tim - I expect a large Slash class this year

I had the combination of too much power and not enough traction. On a side note the marshalls where getting tired.

Chris, on the right side of the track what is the distance approx. from the oval inside board to the outside wall, I got a couple ideas but need to know that first, it will make sense when I show you on paper.

I think it as about 20' plus or minus a foot.
I am definitely going to flip the track 180 degrees
with the straight on the front stretch.
That will make the track feel much wider.
I am going to let Jason build a couple new carpet jumps, I am not sure what yet.
