i'm putting an lrp 17.5 motor in my rdx, whats a good gearing for a 17.5 touring car, i've never run touring with this type of motor before.
i know it needs to be a small spur, a big pinion.
is an 88 tooth spur good, i'm thinking around a 45 tooth pinion should be right with the size rubber tires are.

Ricky I'd start with a 88/41. We've been running around 4.2 fdr in rubber.

you know it's funny you said 88/41 because that is the gearing i chose.
i figured the lrp gear ratio chart said 5.0 and i knew the motors could handle a lower ratio than that after finding my 10.5 could be geared higher than listed

Hey
Wish I could make it up there this weekend for the race guys, I am going to be in Martinsville, VA Fri-Sat for a truck race. I'm sure it will be a great race and next time hopefully I can be there. I had alot of fun the one and only time we were there for the regional a couple years ago. Good luck to all who attends and have fun!

Hey everyone!

We have had some set backs with our drivers and a good portion of some of the other out of state drivers not being able to make it for the Howler as it is scheduled.

the last thing we would want to do is have people travel for a lighter turn out then expected and be disapointed. So, we are being up front with this and let people know that we are totally down to run Saturday but the crowd will be lighter. The layout is freaking great and SO much fun to drive, and grip is up, so let us know what you think and your preferences.

thanks for all the support and look forward to seeing you soon,

Casey

This has been on the schedule for so long now that the chance to make all you guys pay up on your tabs, and make some more, is something she would never miss.

ok guys (and Hanulec, don't want to exclude the gay Hobbit community), we have 20+ and counting confirmed so it should be a decent turn out afterall! We have some shwag and goodies saved up, so good chance someone is going home with something.

No, I'm not talking about my mom and std's. Just get that joke over with right away
