Andy - I'm not sure if I missed this or not, but I'm assuming HPI bodies only?? Or is that open?

let the FUN begin.........

Super nitro, r40, and nitro stock and PRO 4....ready, willing and able, to once again rule.....

Wow, it's not even 08 yet, and fastharry is already smacking his lips. What he didn't tell you is this is what a first place trophy looks like when only two cars left standing. The person who said a little help goes a loooong ways must have been thinking about fastharry.

I'm down to one HPI car (the greatest hpi car of all times) Super Nitro. So you can count me in if the class is held.

Winning is about putting yourself in a position to win.....I did.

but let me guess.....every one one of your wins was because you were the absolute fastest....

Please, keep commenting, so we can all see what an expert you are....

Hey Andy - it's mentioned for the micro stock using a "stock" motor. Does that mean the little silver motor that came w/the kit? Also, is that class required to use the stock chassis or would an after market chassis be allowed?

Thanks

I guess Collins and I will have to dust off the old HPI cars, and come out and race.
We (The Hobby Shop in Dayton Ohio) just put in for one of the races as well since we've hosted before.
Should be another great year for racing!

You tell Mike Collins to bring out the super nitro and bring it on!!! I owe him for the beatdown he gave me at the last HPI Challenge in Austin, TX, where I finished second to him. (Please don't take this post seriously, it is all in fun and M. Collins {Mr. HPI} is a great competitor and driver.)

Oh, I am definitely in on the HPI Super Nitro part of the challenge. I have been itching to run mine since the last Texas challenge. Guess I will have to obtain another R40 since I got rid of my 2003, 9th place A-main HPI World's finisher from Las Vegas (and have the plaque to prove it!). But, I have a Racer 2 that is up for sale if anyone is interested.

andyh,

What at the engine requirements/restrictions for the nitro pro/expert class and for the super nitro class? Will the foam tire requirement be restricted to just using HPI foam tires or will the racers be allowed to use any brand of foam tire? Are the lexan bodies restricted to just HPI-only bodies?
