The more the merrier. Definitely bring a canopy, table & chair(s), we have tables but the park service often spreads then around and if you don't get there early enough they will all be taken. See ya there...

WHAT TIRE SHORE WORKS BEST AT YOUR TRACK? DOES THE BASIC SET UP FOR A NTC3 WORK?

Leo, Im a camarillo regular. I used the same setup at Rev that I use at Camarillo. You will have to gear down though. I have used the 6 tooth split and it works, other people are using the green pinion on second, and use the smallest pinion on first. About the tires, we used to run 40Fs, 37Rs, but I have been using 45 42 and it works just as good.

What kind of offroad classes do you get at this track?

is there any on road racing tomarrow 12-14 ?

I am a club member, although I will not be able to be there tommorrow, it is a race weekend (2nd and 4th Sundays of the month) I know a few guys are going to the Toys for Tots race. I'm sure there will be a race going on there though (weather permitting)

Off road is slowely picking up again. We had a change in race directors and for one reason or another, the Friday night races were poorly attended. We had a pretty good buggy class, a big Tmax class and a decent nitro truck showing. The 1st and 3rd Sat. nights there is a good dirt oval class. They run sprint cars, gas trucks and electric trucks. I raced the 4th annual "Turkey Night" on Nov 14th. That was a kick. I never ran it before that.

I'd love to get out there...currently I'm only racing 1/10th electric truck and buggy down at SoCal but am also getting into 1/10th nitro stadium trucks....

Does 1/10th nitro trucks see a decent turnout????

Still racing every 2nd and 4th sunday of every month. Come on out and join us at this excellent permanent on-road track. Transponders are available at the track or use your personal transponders. Power is provided but bring your tables.

Yes were still going strong you can check us out at www.roadrunnersrc.com we race onroad every 2nd and 4th sunday of the month and offroad every 1st and 3rd friday and sunday of the month

Also this is an old thread we no longer use ventura in front of are name a better thread would be the roadrunners rc club v.2 thanks and hope that helps a little bit
