Watcha doing sneaking up there to go race RBF? Everybody at Tamiya was looking for you and your hurting 201! J/K about the 201 but everybody was wondering why you didn't cruise down. Also, Neil found a DIALED setup for it as well.

Sorry I didn't call back, my phone dumped and crashed and then when I got home, so did I.

I figured you were worn out.

Why...
Because its more fun than thrashing on an eff201 all day (I got the 201 for fun, Plastic car is for play ya know)
And dare I say it... Camarillo is a better track :tire:

You gotta check this place out, its just plain fun.
The low key atmo is refreshing. :tire:

howard hudson 06-09-2003 01:35 PM

BendingCorners 06-09-2003 05:45 PM

I/E in Ventura, NAW, can't be

I'll put $20bucks on it that HH and the I/E racing crew will not drive to Camarillo, these guys are scared of competition.

and by the way, if you guys from IE do decide to go to Cam, keep an eye out on the side of the road as my car doesn't climb hills to well. :ha: :ha: :ha:

Why so many DNS's?

sponger 06-10-2003 04:11 PM

My printer broke, so we didn't get started til 11:30 :( I have a brand new printer now though, thanks to Franno.:D We ran 4 qualifiers and a main because of the small turn out. Some people had things to do so they left early. Fred had a glicthing problem so he sat out his main. The gas guys kept flaming out so they packed up and left. It was a fun but funky day. :weird: We will be starting a 6 race summer series in July ending in September. I'm planning on using a different kind of race format, but I still need to think it out.:sneaky:

Sensitive Howard

Sorry Mr. Hudson I didn't know you were still sensitive about the butt whooping that I served you up when we raced 1 on 1. I've been told by administrator that when a person becomes sensative and my post creates anger then I should stop discusing matters with that person, so you will hear no more from me regarding you. Once again SORRRY Mr. Hudson for ruffling your panties.

Howard Make it to Camarillo and I will make it 2 for 2wins. Expert Stock Class.

That Warpspeed Chassis didn't help you before, and it willn't be the answer this time either. Lucky, Lucky. I bent corners on you and I will be glad to do it again.

Trash Talk back in effect

Brushless, Spec, or Mod Class ?

Any of you Camarillons think that 27T isn't all that, and are looking for more excitement ?

In Japan NoOne runs 27T...23T is however quite popular, turns out 23T is very close to 19T speed, which is very close to the Novak Spec Brushless speed

Question is.... are there enough of us to start up some sort of spec class out there ?

anyone ?

sponger 06-17-2003 09:34 AM

There just might be enough of us to start a spec class. So are you leaning toward brushless spec or 23T???

rocketron 06-17-2003 10:03 AM

if you start a brushless class count me in - i'd make the trip to race. Brushless is certainly equal to 19t or 23t and requires NO maint and you can run and run and run.....

When do we start  :tire:

DOTMAN 06-19-2003 10:33 AM

I'd be in for brushless. Maybe we could get Josh to make that class six minutes too.

cHckbOY5 06-19-2003 06:33 PM

ooo brushless...

nitrodude 06-19-2003 08:57 PM

cHckbOY5, Sponger woulnt know a .15 from a .12 or a .21 if it hit him in the head:D ;) . WE all run .12s, 5 port 3 port, whatever. Most of us run NTC3s, but Im about to ressurect my GT4. Its a great atmosphere here, get you cars and run.

Thanks,

Steven Muller
MPP

Fred Hubbard 06-19-2003 11:24 PM

Sorry can't do the brushless thing...

MarkA 06-19-2003 11:46 PM

Any idea if you guys are going to do the two-day “End of Summer Fun Race” again this year?

BendingCorners 06-29-2003 11:00 AM

VRR & HP an UNBEATABLE TEAM.

Ventura RoadRunners and Hobby People seem to be a great combination for racers and spectator excellence.

The track conditions are GREEEEEEAAAAT, Weather alwayz pleasing and track layout always creative.

Just wanted to say thanks to all the VRR club members who put there time and effort into the track for a very good day of racing.
