There will be no negotiating on these rules.
Now I see why there are only 4 people signed up for cooper
Why dont we just run TCS rules? Thats pretty much what everyone has their coopers set up for anyway. Do they still make 1900 cells?

Tag - You could put in a good word for me and my ability to re-arrange a track!

Everyone - Which hotels are most of the racers staying at? Don't want to stay off the beaten path.

1900? Rule is Trinity 1600 spec packs. Easy to get ahold of.

This is the way we've run Cooper up here for quite a few years now. Instead of making a cheap car into something expensive with all the option parts, we keep it cheap.

$150 retail for the speedo? What if you had an old LRP SC speedo just hangin around the pit box and used this for your mini? Seems unfair for a racer to have to go out a purchase another speedo to comply with this rule.

Please clarrify, does $150 retail mean the store purchase price or full retail which we all know is grossly inflated. I think the futaba SC retails for just over $150?

Looking forward to this race. Planning on making a day trip this weekend to register for 19t sedan and mini.

That's keeping costs down Carl

Those rules are like re-writing rules to baseball...in order to score you must run to first, balance the bat on your nose for 15 seconds, then you can run to second...when you get there, you must take 3 shots then do a hand stand and run on your hands to third, then when you get to third you have to crabwalk to home base. Of course, every player of the opposing team that is on the field must touch the ball once before you can be called out. Oh yea, to keep cost down, we're going to use whiffle ball bats

What they meen is that it can cost no more than $150. Most guys are running a Futaba MC330CR and that goes for about $70.

Hope this clears up any problems.

So, does this mean I have to go out and purchase an MC3330CR?

Keeping the kit as close to stock as possible is a good thing...limiting the electronics is tough...most of the guys running mini's used older equipment that is just laying around.

If this is the case, its just one less class to race.

No it doesn't mean you have to get the Futaba one, I just used it as an example. If you have an old ESC floating around I don't think anyone will complain if you use it.
