RCI- When do you go?? Some of us have been going on the opposite Sat. nights from the RCComp races.....

I'm an on-road driver, usually every other tues, and sat. Depends on the weekend. I'll probably start up with RC Comp, then go to SoCal in the evening and race.

Heya Neil, are you gonna be at socal this tuesday? I'll be running in prostock and I've got a little somethin-somethin for ya :sneaky:

How was the track layout this Saturday? I saw it but didin't drive on it.

Haven't been there in a while, but I read in a recent R/C car mag that some guys are using foams in expert mod. What's the deal, are they allowing foams now for sedan??:weird:

We had thought about using foams because the ROAR Nats were going to allow foam tires....but that fell through so no one is running foams at SoCal.

But it's not out of the question....

Have you tried 'em Tony? Do you feel they worked well there? Just wondering... hope to see you out there soon.:) Been doing mostly gas lately, so I haven't touched any rubber in quite a while.:eek:

The 1/10 GTP guys use them all the time. I am amazed at how fast they can corner with foams. I've tried foams once, it's an unfair advantage so I've stopped using them. Oh by the way, there is no Expert Stock, it's Professional Stock.

Yeah I've been running with Pan car guys for years now, but more recently have just been running mod with them at Revelation (except last week!). Regarding the class thing, I was asking about the Pro Mod class...

How bad is everyone's undercarriage from the banks on the on-road track?

My undercarraige is pretty damn sore from the kicking in got last night. If it weren't for Joven breaking and people going home early, I would be last in the ProStock B-Main...doh wait, you're talking about chassis? nm. :blush:

Yea that @ss whoppin you got last night was impressive. I figured the Evo3 (TC3) of yours probably got tweaked from the novice drivers paying you back. Or was it the Tamiya drivers?

It was a little bit of both hehe. The car had some very bad tweak from the "One-hour before race chaos" and "Novice wanna get racey" fiasco that I experienced. I spent all of the qualifiers trying to get the car sorted out again only to run a compromised setup in the main. When I got home, I noticed that all four of the Ti screws that hold the supsension blocks have been bent causing the entire rear suspsension to be twisted about 2 degress counterclockwise (if viewed from above) I new something was wrong with the car but couldn't find it at the track. I am relieved that I was able to spot it and that it shouldn't be to difficult to put the car back in the top three of the Amain hehe.

That's amazing, how do you prevent something like that? Stronger screws I guess. Oh by the way, do you still need that extra driver for the TA enduro?
