Racing last night was a mixed bag. It was fun to have time to hang out and cruise the pits shooting the poo but the racing was like survival of the fittest. I'm glad there was a big turnout because the more the merrier :p

Oh yeah, and my apologies to anyone I gave the door to, there were a few instances. My bad :deathstar

Too bad I wasn't there. Family in town and I had to entertain. Sounds like lots of people. What were the results?

From what I saw, the people that you "gave the door to", were just weeving infront of you. For a second they would be three feet to the left of the racing line, then four feet to the right of the racing line. As you caught them, they would again weeve, and having nowhere else to go, there was a collision...

Well, Jose won stock again. He drove very clean and was virtually mistake free the whole race. There were three whole heats of stock last night, two of 19t, one of mod, and seven more heats mixed of pancars, novice, intermediate, and micro...

At least you only got hit with a stock... I took those same hits in 19t, lap traffic is just so much fun

Rodzilla won the 19t B main by a lap on the field

Pat See won the A

Well...

The first hit in my second race was by a brushless stock(more punch, got off the line harder...), which turned me sideways in front of three other cars. One of those three cars hit my car and then the car felt like a piece of poo...

What ever, my whole car is apart right now, need to clean and rebuild many components on the car.

Great racing especially in stock class. Congrats to Jose in stock. Keep it up though, cuz I'm coming for ya!!!!!! Well, the first night out with the Pro4 was good. Very impressed with the car managing to take 3rd in the main, but didn't do too well in qualifying; too much lap traffic. It would be nice to see an IFMAR start. It was funny to see that everytime I passed somebody they suddently wanted to race me to the next turn. I guess some people don't understand what the purpose of qualifying is for.

On another note I met some pretty cool people. It was a good night.

Next week I'm gonna try to run 19t and stock. Slight problem though. After taking the front diff case apart, some teeth were missing off the diff gear and input shaft gear. The car will still work, but now it's just a matter of time until all the teeth go. It was a good turnout. Hopefully even more people show up next week.

Jeff

Welcome to racing at socal. No IFMAR starts here. Everyone likes to be competitive, even to the next turn. Those that are experienced will pull over.
