Hey guys i was just thinking of getting a new camera, and i was looking at this one.
i was hoping if you guys could look at the specs and tell what you think of it.
the camera i have now is a HP 618 2.1MP
what do you guys think of it for a beginner
i dont need any thing to PIMP.
im mainly going to use it for around the house but would like it to do more then just that for when i want to.
one thing in the link it does not show is aperture range, but here is the specs on that......... f/2.8 - f/11 (wide); f/3.1 - f/11 (telephoto)
here is the link to the camera

Here's a good review
Steve's Digicams
it doesn't look too bad to me, I can't speak for the shutter lag, but I would presume it has it as most of this class do, but it does have a shutter and aperture priority mode, which is a plus..
5mp and $400 pricetag put's it right in the market for that caliber camera, and I like the optics.. big glass always helps to get good photos. you can have a 8mp camera, but if it has a lens the size of a dime, what good is it really??
