WTB- Cheap starter kit for friends son.
Hi all,
My friends son has been showing a lot of interest in the hobby and yesterday his mom asked me if I can find a setup for him.
The mom doesn't have a lot to spend, she wants to stay sub $200. From what I've heard he would prefer a 1/10th electric setup that can handle grass and light off road tasks with ease.
They have nothing atm, so a kit that includes most of the starter items would be preferable.
I'd love to see him have an older truggy setup. Something along the lines of a Ofna CRT or early Losi 8ight T or similar. Since he's new, it would be handy to have something durable that won't break too often.
Please let me know what ya have.
Thanks a bunch.

Have a Thunder Tiger Sparrowhawk XXT I got as a roller from another user on these forums. Includes enough spare parts to build 90% of a second sparrowhawk so breaking things wouldn't be much of an issue. Since you want entry level I'll sell it as a brushed ARR with 17T reedy radon motor, esc, and 27MHz tx/rx included for $150 shipped within the US. PM me if you want more details.
