I have a vintage and fully functioning Futaba FP-T2F 2-channel wheel radio. I've installed a NiCad transmitter battery and had a charge jack installed on the front as well. I've also crafted a grip based on the one Kimbrough used to sell from mahogony. Made in Japan (not China).

Wow that brings back memmories, Mind had a Parma Slot Car Controller handle mounted on the back instead of the wooden side grip.

Showing my age perhaps but these 'brown box' radios were bullet proof. The handle was copied from the black plastic Kimbrough item that they used to sell specifically for these radios.
