Default WTB TLR 8ight-T Truggy Diff Gears (2.0, 3.0, 4.0)

Got a friend that runs an old TLR 8ight-T truggy 3.0 and he needs a front and rear differential ring and pinion. Thought I'd try to help him out. These are the 47T / 12T gears. TLR242011 for the front, TLR242012 for the rear. Thanks!

You want LOS242013 for the front (in stock) - and LOS242014 for the rear. The rtr stuff is compatible and is all youll find on a shelf anymore.

I should have a complete drivetrain somewhere in my hobby room I don’t recall if it’s from a buggy or a truggy (front/center/rear diffs) send me a pm if interested.

Yeah, I've got a set of those RTR diffs from my old 2016/2017/current nitro RTR buggy that I swapped to TLR diffs way back when. Thought remember something was up with them, like the cups were different or they were prone to stripping out or something. Were they compatible with the TLR cups/outdrives/internals?

And were the RTR ring gears problematically less durable? Or was the RTR diff stripping issue the result of the diff inserts (the things that mated the diffs to the gearbox case on each side) being made of of plastic on the RTR vs aluminum on the TLRs?

I appreciate the heads up!

The RTR stuff is powdered metal, not hardened/heat treated machined steel like the non-rtr stuff, which is why it's mega cheap. It's definitely not as strong, but gets a truck on the track and is super cheap.

I'm pretty sure I can help you out with this. I'll be home tomorrow to check what I have. I know i have like 20 ring and pinions, I just can't remember if they are for the 4.0 buggy or the truggy.
