Heavily modified HPI Blitz ESE (built for oval)
Since our local track is no longer running short course trucks on carpet oval I am selling this awesome piece.
This started out as a standard HPI Blitz ESE short course truck. We ran these on our carpet over here in NE Wisconsin. Between my brother and I the mod bug took over big time as you can see. The only ESE parts left are the shocks, tie rods and motor plate. Everything else has been modded or replaced to maximize corner speed.
Mods listed below that I can remember:
-CF chassis and front end from a HPI Firestorm
-RPM front and rear arms
-Beefy aluminum stiffeners (can't remember the name)
-HPI Firestorm CF front shock tower
-STNC rear shock tower
-STNC front and rear axle carriers
-MIP hex adapters to run 1/8 wheels
-Extra transmission with all gears
-MIP diff replaced with RTR gear diff (better for oval)
-RTR dog bones and axles
-Two full transmissions ready to go with gear diffs
-Full set of Panther soft slick tires mounted
-Full set of SteetFighter tires mounted
-Stock body
-Painted but never ran Desert Rat body
-Custom carbon fiber left side battery tray
Electronics included:
-Spektrum hi-torque servo
-Thunder Power motor 6.5 turn
-Protek 70C 2 cell lipo battery
You will need a receiver and speed control. I ran a Tekin RS Pro.
The original chassis no longer exists as it was cut up testing left side battery placement. I still have the MIP CVD's (which don't have clearance at this ride height). I think I still have the MIP diff as well but one of the sides is broken.
May other spare parts included.
