Default L4 chassis-special high bite edition.

hey all,

I had a bunch of chassis custom made for me and some racers for high bite carpet and after this weekends racing in the toughest conditions-I can say they work on high bite as Paul Ciccarello put one in the show and the rest of us lead or won the B-Mains in stock and Masters 12th scale.

The chassis is semi-isotropic 2.5mm carbon fiber with these special features:

-3d cutouts for the L4 battery inserts. Keeps CG low.
-wheelbase adjusted. One set of holes for front arms is moved 0.0200" inches to accomodate incorrectly molded AE dynamic strut front end lower arms. WHeelbase will be closer than stock chassis.
-pre drilled for antenna mount normal, to the side, off set or stand alone antenna mount and stand alone shock mount.
-predrilled for Personal transponder.

Chassis retains the stock positions for the body mounts, chassis protector mounts and cross brace and is precision CNC milled.

I have three left out of nearly 8 commisioned.

Price is $60 plus $4.50 shipping in the US. Pay Pal will NOT be accepted, but will accept Credit Cards.

Also-VERY important-these are one off design and therefore I am selling these basically at my cost-maybe even losing a few buck-so price is firm!!!
Pics to come soon.

Duh-thats quasi-isotropic carbon fiber. Handled great even in the highest bite.

Default Excellent Chassis

I can give you first hand feedback on the chassis. It is extremely stiff and will be a great tuning aid for high bite applications. I ran one this weekend at the Halloween Classic and it handled great!! As with any BMI product, the quality of the chassis is second to none!!

I too can say this is a great chassis. Ray was a bag of poop leading up to the Halloween race and somehow I had to chase him around all weekend. Its a good chassis. I also have one that has been prepped but never run. I will part with it once Ray sells his last one. same deal. I promise you a the finest prep job you have ever seen....garunteed! This is Ray's post so please contact Ray for his first. I have a big post going up with some quality items but did not want to put this out there without coming here first.

Default lower pod plate??

ray,

I'll take your last two if you still have them. Do you have a thick lower pod plate to go with the chassis? If not, not a big deal, but would be nice. I've left a voicemail with you at your 888 number.

Thanks!!

Default One left!!

Hey all,

I have another chassis. This has a special story behind it. It was prepped and CA'd, installed, but never ran because the driva got sponsored by another 12th scale car company right after buying it from me.

So-installed, prepped, but NEVER ran.

Sma e deal as the others!!

Thanks,
Ray

BTw-I ran the chassis on low and medium bite last Sunday club race and it wasnt hard to drive at all early in day-as I had wondered if it would. It handled smooth and predictable-like it did on high bite. So you can just run this one from a 15 person club race to the US INdoor Champs no problem. ONly chnage would be the same as with the stock chassis-softer tires to harder tires as grip comes WAY-up.

Ray
p.s. I might have more made in a couple weeks as I am still gettng requests to buy them.
