I purchased this truck not more than a 3 weeks ago on ebay. And raced it once at my local track (Some practice, one 5min qualifier & one 5min main). I qualified 2nd (about 20+ truggies in 3 heats) and was leading the A-main until I was taking out by a fellow racer
The reason I am selling this so soon is I actually brought another one from a fellow racer at my track and thus don't need two
Anyways, this is a very capable truggy even as the RTR version.
When I raced it, I ran it with a V-Spec .21 motor (with a RE11 pipe) which had plenty of power to propel this missile down the track. Vspec, RE11 and electronics NOT included.
This truck comes with the AE Pro .28 motor and AE Pipe. I've never even started this motor so can't guarantee it will work well without some maintenance. The previous seller did hint that it possibly needed a new Sleeve/Piston ($50 on ebay to fresh up $200 motor), but it does still have some pinch and to be honest the air filter that came with it was so dirty its a wonder the motor could even breath. A new un-used Kyosho Air Filter is included.
I put new bearings in the clutch bell and mounted it up.
The Diffs were rebuilt with 7-3-7 Oils. The Shocks all have 30wt Oil.
I installed a new DE Rear Scratch Guard before running it, and gave this truck a thorough cleaning since then. Its very tight and has very little slop.
You'll just need two Servos, A receiver and Receiver pack, Starter & fuel to get off and running.
For your reference, this RC8T RTR retails at $589 on Tower right now (not including discounts).
I have it listed on Ebay but would rather sell here to avoid fees etc. $300 OBO.
