upgraded 12L4 w/serious extras
I've got an RC 12L4 here that is seriously upgraded and has beaucoup extras.
It comes with the "standard" chassis w/adjustable battery inserts and a spare chassis (non-adjustable battery position) PLUS it has a custom "thick" SSG (Silver Surface Graphite) in 2.5mm thickness that is ideally suited to carpet racing. The SSG chassis includes ALL the carbon fibre parts (chassis main plate, top and bottom pod plates, bridge) and looks to be unused.
**edit** I just looked at the pics and realized I didn't lay out the SSG pod top plate for the pic. It IS included.
These chassis options make this a fairly idealized combination for carpet or pavement.
The built-up chassis has been upgraded to CRC dampener tubes and includes lowered pod plates (in red to match the dampener tubes) and a CRC D-ring axle/diff (also in red). It is built-up with the old-style block front suspension but also includes the reactive-caster front arms and mounts with carbon fibre brace. In fact it's the "new" style front with the selectable caster. Also has a graphite T-bar brace between the pivot balls.
I will include a complete set of center shock springs (8 in all) and a complete set of all 4 Associated/CRC axle height adjuster inserts. Also included is an assortment of T-bar thicknesses for your tuning convenience.
The "standard" chassis that is built-up has a minor chip on the front edge (pictured). No effect on integrity or performance. The spare "standard" chassis has been run on asphalt and shows some (not a lot) scratching on the front edges and the sides of the main plate. The SSG "thick" chassis appears as-new.
$120 for the lot as-shown plus $8 for shipping in the US. The SSG chassis parts alone are worth darn close to that.
Can also include a JR Z3550 servo...$35 for one w/o ears for flat-mounting or $40 for one w/ears for angle mounting. Either is in excellent condition.
Check my feedback here on RC Tech or 8 years perfect feedback on e-Bay under ssmith2. Feel free to pm me with your e-mail address for additional pics (specify what it is you'd like to see).
Thanks,
Scottrik
