Hey everyone,

I recently got into airbrushing and I will paint my first airbrushed body soon. I'm planning on doing a fairly complicated flame job with shading etc. I just wanted to ask what order you guys paint? Do you start with the shadows and highlights?

If you back your colors properly you can paint in any order. If you are masking with liquid mask, you can mostly likely use the "correct" order of painting darkest first. If you using tape or vinyl and say the majority of the body needs to be white or florescent, its a lot easier to only mask the dark areas and back the large area so it doesn't bleed through.

If you are using chrome though, save that for last, it has a tendency to peel off.
