Just ordered my next DNX408 body in chartreuse color
It should be seen on the track
"Yellowish green, chartreuse, is naturally placed right in the middle of the frequencies of visible light. Human eyes have receptors for green, blue and red colors. Being placed in the middle, chartreuse actuates the most of these receptors to fire, making it distinct and easier to spot. For the same reason, in some metropolises, firetrucks have been modified from red to a yellowish green color to make them more visible and obvious to the eye."

It's for an endurance race of 10h that's why I'm so concerned about the visibility. Another thing is that I've never seen this colour on a track.
It will be on an e-converted Durango DNX408 with this FTW body and black wheels & wing
Based on my calculations it should look BADASS

Avoid stripes, it can effect your depth perception of the car making it hard to judge turns

Fluo pink is my personal color so I want another one for the team during this endurance . Nobody wants pink so I had to choose it. It's a great color to see a buggy on a track for sure.
I won't use any stripes, just an uniform catchy color.
I'm hesitating for the wheels: what coour would you choose with the yellowish green of the porsche?

in the sea of h-vis yellow and orange paint and hi-vis yellow wheels that is my local track, i went with bright pearl white & bright red with black wheels. others can see me, but nothing on the track is like mine so theres no confusion if i have to blink or sneeze or something.
that being said, chartreuse IS the most visible color to the human eye, which is why i chose one of these for visibility on a flat black 748S:

I totally forgot about this thread sorry, here is the car:
We used half fluo green and half fluo yellow and this it how it went out. Next time we'll use a bit more yellow to obtain a color closer to chartreuse green but it's VERY bright.

I've had great success with gold. I can see it very easily against the clay. Very basic body paint so no judging .

I try to keep all my cars painted similar so my "minds eye" is always looking for the same look.....I also pick colors no one else is using at the time. So far last 2 years I have gone bright red and yellow with a "Lightning McQueen" theme

more "McQueen" themed cars.....I purchased a car that came with a blue body and tried to race it for a day......I had a bad time with the blue body, my mind kept looking for a red and yellow car, I have myself "trained" on a red car and any other colors really messes me up!
