Just goes to show the quality if people that are out there.

Cost of mistake:
body shipped from again. $27.87
Paint. $50.00
RETURN SHIPPING TO ME. $15.00

Total. $92.87

What I got in return? A conversation piece to hang on the wall and let people laugh at.

I'm done with this thread...but my last few paint jobs were pretty much free because I took so long ...and that fire SC shell i traded for a compressor.

I paint for the hell of it mostly...I love doing it. But in reality $75 for a 3 color buggy / truggy would be my average if not a super intricate design.

I hate seeing threads like this and apologize to all.

Yogi

I feel bad for you, seeing as you contacted me to paint, then realised I was down under. Regardless of being a beginner or s seasoned pro, there is no excuse for even posting something like that back to you even if they charged you $10 or free.

Everyone has their shockers, trust me been there and even bought the owner a new shell and redone it again. I hope you get your refund, I don't know how CLD sleeps at night knowing they took money from you to do that.

Happy customers tell a friend.
Angry customers tell EVERYONE!!!

Fixing any problems in the customers eye, perceived or real, should be handled until the customer is satisfied. That is the definition of customer service.

I see plenty of mess ups in areas where you dont "trim", pretty much every aspect of this paintjob has issues...

Out of curiosity, what is your excuse for not removing the rest of the LM off the windows? Saw you were peeling up the white backing on the flour. outlines and decided you would let him peel up the rest and mess up the outline the rest of the way?

F Bomb Graphics paints some really great bodies... He is not a troll in any way, shape, or form. You do not have to have 1000+ posts and have been a member here for years to be well known and a good painter.

Regardless of posting your work on your page, having peope pay you $50 for what your sending them is just wrong. Your pictures (compared to yogi's pics) hide a lot of the mistakes... That is just dishonest.

The only thing I did was take it out of the box. That's the condition that I received it. Didn't remove or anything or attempt to cut it out.

your statements are contradicting you ripped on me before you even looke at my thread.

You know at no time did I claim to be a pro the thread clear states I'm learning. Had he given me the respect to reply before he slammed me and ran me through the mud I would have painted him a new body mistake free (same paint job) I learn with every body and I learned a huge lesson here make sure people look at the body on a big screen NOT an Iphone before you ship. He said it looked good to him so It was shipped.

Cool that you're filling the void for people don't want to spend high bucks on a paint job. Sooner or later you'll find your time is more valuable than what you get to paint them for though...even if you thoroughly enjoy it like I do!

Keep it coming mang.
I learned something on this body the more Liquid Mask the better I went to thin. peel the windows and cut it out then. re-post pictures.

I don't know what part of LEARNING he did not understand. and all you other painters keep playing it up so you can charge $150 plus dollars for paint jobs what do you guys spray for $50 bucks? one color maybe two?
The whole $200 body thing is not really true...

For $50 each, I got these done by Larry of KustomRcGraphics last year.

Here are my first 5.

My first paintjob with more than one color, painted for myself.

My second paintjob, painted for myself.

My third paintjob, painted for myself.

My fourth paintjob, painted for myself.

The first one I painted for someone else, he paid for the materials.

End the BS in this thread and refund his money. Man up and show some balls and admitt your mistakes. It takes more of a man to admitt you F^$&*ED up than try and weazle your way out.

No-one here will crusify you for admitting a fail, but even I will try and give some support to someone trying to learn this art and make a go of it.

Come on the challange is on. Someone else has offered him a free repaint. You keep up your end of the bargin and refund his coin.
