This was actually the first time I tried that and it came out pretty nice. Basically, I used one of the "el cheapo" wooden handle paint brushes that the bristles fall out of by just looking at it. They're like 40 cents each and they have stiff bristles. I put a little auto air fine aluminum base in a cup and just dipped the brush very lightly into it and kept brushing in the same direction over each panel until it started to get tacky and pull itself away back onto the brush a little and make the streaks. Easy to do and easy to screw up. Don't go over it twice because it will ruin the effect.

Thanks for the question and all the compliments from everyone.

Me too! I'm still only on my first year of painting for others for money and learning new stuff on almost every body. If you want to do it, just get some supplies and go for it. That's what I did.

Had no idea this looked so much like Mr. Maifield's design until someone pointed it out...

It's what the customer wanted, though.

And a whole group for a customer that wanted his bodies modeled after the 22 SCT paint job...

It's been CRAZY at my day job but I have more and more coming... and then some more.

Again, I gotta give credit where it's due. These are based off an OTH design. Slightly different coloring and design, though. Very dark bodies but... daddy like.

No , wing are missing for both 1/10 buggy bodies and stadium truck . Buggy wings were in the bags and truck wing was taped on when I sent them .

Sunofa... I found em. Laying on the table with my vinyl cutter right where I left em. Truly sorry. I'll send em your way.
