Default LMF drying time

I remember reading that you should put one coat on and let dry 24 hours then repeat for 3 days. Is this correct? I spray it on with an old crap single action airbrush that has a big tip. The first coat dried after a couple ours is it safe to put on another or should I wait untill tomorrow?

Holy crap man...I lay the first layer and blowdry it clear with a hair dryer...and I'm doing the second layer immediately.

Where did you hear that?

Spray it on thick and heavy. For best results, use a HVLP spray gun. I spray on 3-4 thick coats at once and lay in front of a fan. 6-8 hours and I'm ready to cut graphics. For faster results, skin between coats with a heat gun.

This gun im using sprays it pretty thick so I think 4 or maybe 5 coats is plenty. Just wanted to double check on the time to let it dry.

Just use a cheap bristle brush, NOT A FOAM BRUSH, spread a thin, even coat and dry it with a hair dryer. I am able to put 4 or 5 coats on and be painting in just over an hour. All depending on the size of the body.

I use to use a brush but I like the nice even coat that spraying it produces.

I'm sure it says something like that on the fasmask stuff lol, I'm with sk3tch I put it on blow dry and move onto the next coat, Using brush is nice quick and easy, 3-4 medium coats does the trick.

spraying does look good but its pretty darn smooth with a soft bristle brush and once youve peeled it off it doesnt matter how smooth it once was lol.

I says its all good!! Cant go wrong with liquid mask
