Default My big air compressor

well i want to get a passche double action airbrush. and i have a craftsman 15 gal air compressor. i was wondering if i could use it for air brushing? its got a dual regulator on it so i can adjust the output pressure... any help, Thanks

Yes you can use it I use mine with up to 50lbs. of presure,but get an Iwata air brush they are far superior! Try e/bay they have them cheap!

The compressor will do just fine for airbrushing.

I have both a Paasche VL and an Iwata HP-C. I prefer the Iwata myself but either will do just fine. The Paasche is no slouch.

thanks you guys.... if there any fittings im going to have to buy? and if so, what size? or dose that depend on what brush i get?

i use the same compressor and a pasche brush...the brush hooks straight up but one thing you want to get is a water filter for it..thats bad for paint!

The hose that comes with the Paasche is a direct hookup to a 1/4 NPT female so as long as you have 1/4 NPT male out fitting then it just screws on and off you go.

I use a Paasche braided hose for my Iwata (good quality and cheaper) so all I had to do is get a Paasche hose to Iwata adapter which are readily available.

I would also recommend an inline filter/water trap. Just an ounce of prevention.
