Faskoat and humidity...

Faskoat and humidity...
I use Faskoat mainly as a backer when I use chromes. Since the weather warmed up I noticed it doesn't really harden like a rock like I remember but feels plastic-ish...almost like when you rub your hands on a semi dry painted surface even though it has cured for a few days.
Have they changed their formula or is it just because it's humid now? When I touch the inside of a shell, I like when it feels like glass...not rubber.
Any recommendations for coating the inside of a shell that WON'T effect chrome finishes besides Faskoat?

I did a test where I used faskoat to just seal the chrome then then used what I normally use Rustoleum Crystal Clear.
Do a test piece and see how it works I had good results.
I stopped using Faskoat for the reason u mentioned as it was really messing up my window trim lines.

Ive been using auto-air base coat sealer, it works great to me and others say it takes a beating and has stayed on for years. I have a nitro body Iv been running and no problems.

When using faskoat I always use a hair drier on low to help get it started drying. Mine likes to dry really slow as well, but have noticed if a person wants it to dry quick, a hair drier works wonders.
