Default Daytona Yellow

I am looking to paint my mbx6 school bus yellow. Would my best bet be to use pactra Daytona yellow? If so what should i back it with indy silver or white? thanks.

Do you have the ability to mix paint or will it be spray cans? DaytonA yellow is pretty bright compared to a school bus color, which has more orange to it.

I can only use pactra rattle cans. I live in an apartment and i dont have the funds or talent to use airbrushes. would daytona yellow look like the compuware corvette?

I would on a piece of scrap lexan spray the yellow and then back it with Competition Orange and see what it looks like. Or maybe try Red to get a orange-ish hint. Daytona yellow will look more like the corvette than a school bus.

Use Pactra Bright yellow PT#rc285. It's got a little orange in it. Back it with white.

When it comes to painting I would not hesitate one bit to take Kent beal's advice. Guy has painted numerous bodies for me and is an excellent painter and knows his stuff

I use yellow in a lot of my paint schemes. the bright yellow would be your best bet, but try backing it with red. it will help 'orange' it up abit.
