Default Vintage Kyosho Driver Figure Details

Hi everybody. I am in the middle of a restoration of a mid '80s Cox/Kyosho Gallop buggy and have just bought a repro wing and driver figure set. The driver is the standard "no neck" lexan driver that appeared in the original Ultima, Javelin and many others. My question is: was the helmet visor a decal, or am I just supposed to paint it freehand on the inside of the driver's helmet (there is no visor detail molded in). Thanks in advance!

Paint. You can use a fine point sharpie to draw the outline on the outside as a guide and then paint on inside. The sharpie should wash off.

Thanks for the info. I was considering cutting out a visor from a lexan scrap, but painting it on will probably work much better!
