The wing comes upside down with the body. Do you paint it along with the body or take the protective film off and paint on top?

I usually cut the wing out, take the film off, and then paint it (on the side where the film used to be).

I used to cut the wing free and paint it separately, but I started mis-collating wings and bodies, and even lost one or two wings. So I started leaving the wing attached. I now mask the whole underside of the shell, and cut free the protective film on the topside of the wing only - this way the paint ends up on the underside of the installed wing, so the whole topside of the completed shell is nice and shiny.

I like my wings clear!!! So it will darken the more u race. It will tell u how experience you are wen the wing get alot darker!!! lol j/k

I like that explanation.. but I like my tc wing colored either with white or orange..
