Default spatz stick chrome help

had a buddy of mine do his sons latest slash body in the spatz stick chrome... its been about 2 weeks and half the chrome is on the track and pretty much fell of the body. i have yet to use this paint from them but have seen many use it. is there a special trick to make it stick better or last longer/tougher. he did wash the body but did not scuff it with a pad.

Spaz chrome is not a paint, its a metal flake in an alcohol like suspension. It has almost zero adhesion properties and is held in place by the backing paint. Large areas(or the whole body) are almost guarrantied to flake. Scuffing will not help much and besides it will turn the finish into a polished alum look not chrome. Chrome paint is best used for small areas and in areas that are well protected from hits.
