If you are steady, yes. Apply the cutter on a flat surface and then move the mask to where you want it. You probably weren't going to try to cut it on the shell anyway, but the shape of the shell will make it difficult to get straight.

I like to put lights in my VTA shell and I use the circle cutter on the left over vinyl from the window masks that come with the shell. Circle cutter puts down some great circles for that. Plus I use it to get my wheel wells right.

Technically not a T/A racer but too cool not to post. See the header coming out of the front wheel well! Those Mickey Thompson's are going to go fierce!

Really wish someone would make a legal 69 boss for VTA. the 70 looks good, but the front end of the 69 is so much cooler looking. Im thinking this would be a great addition to the protoform line-up

I wish HPI would just re tool the Gittin mold to represent the standard Mustang. I'm great with the spoiler and fenders and I think the side scoop is a little exaggerated but I'm good with that too. If the hood and headlights were fixed it would be perfect. That and a decal sheet more like the other Mustang.

Or Protoform could do it. I would love to see what the Epps would come up with.

McAllister Racing makes a VTA Legal 69 Mustang

While its detail isn't that of an HPI Body, it works pretty good, and is very durable.

Been working on this PROTOForm J71 this weekend for a Wisconsin racer. I had done a similar one recently in red. He contacted me to do one for him, but he wanted the fusion green look. That green is a sweet color! Numerals and spikes are hand cut using Fasmask and some lengthy layout time. Should look great on the track for him. That nose is just held in place with a little masking tape. Once it is glued, it will be a better fit.

robrt looks like a sock man for a driver. The Michelin man might be getting jealous.
