Here's a Plain Jane "Sublime Green" FIREBIRD - and when the NEW Decals get here mid week - the plan is to do one same colow w/ the NEW Hood Bird and Rear Tail Light panel.

From Indy RC last Friday night. Not my car, but I really liked the looks of it. Clean, simple and mean! Looked great on the track too.

My favorite team theme is still my Tennessee Volunteers Camaro shell.

GO BIG ORANGE!

Side marker lamp stickers? I didn't go no side marker lamp stickers...

BTW, you put them on the racing car, and left them off the street car.

I know, I put them on the wrong one...

I just had them made yesterday...not sure I like them, or the door handles. (I have 2 more sets printed - so I may put them on the other one too)

Did ya notice the different TAIL LIGHT?

With McAllister already making a Firebird, I'm disappointed that they didn't choose another VTA-legal car. I've been wanting a Cougar (I know. Fat chance!). A 70-73 Camaro that is a better fit and/or more consistently available than the Pegasus body would be nice.

Totally agree. I mean, how many different flavors of Camaro/Firebird & Mustang do we need? Not referring specifically to VTA, but there are some legendary cars that are conspicuous by their absence. Why is there no Buick Grand National? Plymouth Duster/Dodge Demon? Plymouth Roadrunner? Heck, even a 2nd generation Charger that's *not* designed for a silly monster truck chassis would be essential. A late 60's/early 70's Torino Cobra would be awesome.

It irks me that even with a dozen flavors of Mustang/Camaro & variants, they come out with yet another flavor rather than something else.

I think what everyone has to keep in mind is the fact that these body manufacturers have to get licenses to make these bodies. I'm sure it isn't easy or cheap to do so.

I'm thankful they're giving us options. It may sound harsh, but I don't think the Pegasus or McAllister bodies are accurate enough. Although I certainly appreciate their efforts! So even though I love 2nd Gen F-Bodies, I won't run them. For me, this is (likely) the first later model F-Body I'd consider running.

Yes, there are a lot of really cool, less popular body styles that were used back in the day, but that's just it. They're less popular and if you only had two body styles offered for VTA (like PF currently does), wouldn't you want to make sure you offer a body style people will likely want? I totally understand why they went more mainstream.

I kinda wish it were a Camaro because it would offer more vintage paint scheme options, but that's okay. And maybe....just maybe....PF will offer a different front clip so we can choose which F-Body we want to run? My fingers are crossed....
