Default First time painter

Hiya! This is my first body I'm painting and would like some help selecting paints. I have the new F201 body from MLP Motorsports, all trimmed up and masked off in a fairly simple pattern. I don't have the money (or skills) for an airbrush so I want to use aerosols. I'm going with black and gold. Is there a specific brand that can closely represent anodized yellow or gold? I have black rims with anodized gold wheel nuts and anodized gold body posts so I'm hoping to find a paint that can come reasonably close. Anybody have any suggestions?

First don't trim the body out until after your done painting the body. Always spray dark colors first. Then you can add lighter colors later.

If you're doing rattle can, you options are pretty limited. If you invest in an airbrush, there are a number of different paints that can accomplish something similar to an anodize. But with rattle can, you're probably limited to Pactra Gold as Spazstix doesn't offer an aerosol candy yellow to pair with their mirrorchrome aerosol.

Uh huh. ok I can't afford an airbrush setup right now so I'm stuck with the cans for now. You gave me a hint though with "candy yellow"...let's see what the Internet has to offer...thanx!
