This is the first paint job I've ever done and it was all with rattle cans and a lot of masking. I used standard blue interior painting masking tape for large areas and rc specific trim masking tape. I tried to do fades on the orange to yellow and green to lighter green. They turned out okay for rattle can I think. I was a bit disappointed with the adhesion of the rc masking tape on curves. It tended to pull up and allow seepage. I think next time I'll try to brush on full body mask and cut out sections as I paint them. Just thought I'd show you some rookie work.
I've run this body in a club series race so it's a little pounded but holding up okay.

Haven't painted much recently but here is a new take on my paint for my RC8E. My droop shadows are horrendous but I did paint this in only a few hours (I really rushed myself).

Those colors go great together, and I really like the scheme. If that only took you a couple hours, you're extremely fast!!! Looks like it would have taken at least 3 hours.

Scuba Steve's MBX-6
Here's one for Scuba Steve. He liked the main fluorescent red color on the one I just painted for my truggy, so we started with that, added some flames in fluorescent orange and yellow, and a few little skull dudes for character.

I keep hearing everyone talking about Createx paints. Where can you get these paints? Are they the same ones that you get from Hobby Lobby or like Michael's?
