W.E.D., when shadowing on white, do you use grey or very thin black?

I can't speak for jim, but i do know that any "window tint" color is excellent for doing shadows on lighter colors due to the low intesity. You need to make alot more passes with the tint than if you would use a dilluted black to get a desired depth.

I know parma makes some, but i think pactra only offers it in a lacquer spray can though...

Thanks man, much appreciated.
My first slash, I had only two days to get this done for a b-day gift today so I had to keep it simple.

Al Dente(Just right, cool), I prefer shadows a little darker then some. So I use thinned black, VERY thin, in a couple of coats.
When I am doing realism I only do one coat, or I use the same color they are going under, along with a few drops of black in the color cup.

For example; since everyone uses blue, I keep some blue around with the black tint already mixed in.

Hope this helps.

Default Guff Germany's RC8 & RC8T

Here are a couple for one of our local pros, Guff Germany. He's taking these to the Nitro Challenge this week. Guff picked the paint scheme from something he saw on Neobuggy and made a few modifications to the colors.

Thanks for posting the mounted bodies! I don't know a painter who doesn't like to see the end result on the customers chassis of choice. Enjoy, and don't scratch it.
