Hi gang! Hope you had a good weekend of racing or just having fun.

The contest entries are now closed as of June 30th 11:59.59 p.m. central time. I had a few late entries and I am sorry but they cannot be included. Sorry.

I did have a problem with a couple of pictures coming across correctly. I hope to have those fixed no later than tomorrow.

Thank you everyone for participating!

Default Holden Body

Thanks to everyone for the compliments on the Holden body. Yes, it is a Frewer body. The body name is actually the Commodore VT, 190mm (only comes in 190 at the moment). The part number is FR21N. The V8 Super Car series I believe is all this car and the Falcon. The Falcon is a very cool body as well, and Frewer makes one of those too. I've painted one, but it's kind of tattered now. It's not a replica anyway. The Falcon body part number is FR24N. The Falcon is a Ford and the Commodore (Holden) is a GMC. I don't know all there is to know about the series, but you can check out their website for some very cool painting ideas. If you want to get a good view of the Falcon and you have a PS2/GT3 gaming system you've got it made...go to the Car Dealer section, select the Tickford (I think it's Tickford) cars from Australia. The only car they show is the Ford Falcon. Cool paint scheme, very cool front end. I'll be painting a replica for one of those too, when I get my hands on another one. Frewer is from New Zealand, which is why they make these cool bodies. Frewer also makes the touring bodies for Serpent and those 200mm Lola and Porsche GTP bodies (Outlaw Sedan style). We carry a lot of the Frewer stuff, and even better - I make window masking for them too.

Kraig,

Thanks for the heads up... My hat goes off to you Charlie! As far as painting his designs they are pretty amazing.

On the topic of V8 Supercars, here is a cool FORD AU V8 Supercar paintwork on a 300M:

Nice paint on the Falcon! Is everything painted on or are there decals on there too?
