I might have to have you start doing my paint. Your stuff is just killer. Who would have thought such nice work could come from Gardnerville.

That's a nice ride! I'll have a few 1/8th bodies done this weekend for the Nat's. I'll post them up when I finish.

jsbodies, I use the foam brush too, but the first coat must be thin or it will drip. The streaking won't cause any problems later on. Kind of like spraying a light tack coat first? LOL.
Then after the first coat dries in a hour or two, apply a slightly heavier second coat. Which will need more drying time. It usually takes about 3-4 coats total for decent removal ease. For any thin spots that act up and tear during removal use a heat gun to warm the material and it will peal off much easier.

It took me about 2 weeks to get comfy with the stuff and I still try Divelys every now and then, but each has it's own set of special needs and I always go back, .

I get about 20-30 bodies on one exacto blade now too, btw...Jim

well everyone, thanks for your support and well wishes! I'm in college station right now and the last few day's have been surreal to say the least!

as of now, JSBodies is closed indefinitely. The city of beaumont is closed until further notice and we have no idea what our home looks like or if it's still there. my shop is in the attic of our home as well, and I suspect it to be a total loss.. we took all that we could carry in a van and truck and left.

We are taking my wife back in the morning as she is a hospital employee.. and alos hope to rescue our dog's if we are allowed in at all.

I did have the forsight to bring almost all of my current orders, and some of my paint and airbrushes.

please, if you guy's hear of anyone asking about me, let them know our circumstances.

I will make every effort to get all work completed as soon as i can, but we have to get our lives together first.

I will try to keep in touch..

Wedjim- brough the mask with me and wil have some time to play with it so it seems.. and thanks! for the help.

Here is one I just finished. The green is actually a lot darker than the pictures show. I am still having problems with the airbrush causing a dusting of paint as you can see in the third picture. I have an Iwata revolution with Faskolor thinned a little with rubbing alcohol at about 30 psi.

Any idea what I should try to stop the dusting?
