Lidz, didn't you post that very original design months ago as your own? I think it's cool when someone uses my designs, it's kinda like a pat on the back for a job well done. Besides there's nothing you can really do about stopping them but please be respectfull enough to give the person credit whose design you copied. I think I got into a debate with someone about this very subject a while ago, so I'll drop it here.

I must agree with lmunno, lots of good work being posted, keep it up.

yea i got some of the ideas from a buggy body i saw on here some time ago, as far as people duplicating something other people do............. just how it goes, i had the first rc car i ever saw with flames 15 or so years ago........ just how it goes. same colors ive always run with the exeption of adding the purple. but whoever did the buggy body did a fantastic job. i just changed a few things and added some flames too it but im sure i wont be the only person too take ideas from here, isnt that what this thread is for ?

Here's my first airbrushed body. It's a tribute to my grandfather who passed away Thursday. Although I feel that it wasn't really his time, he died peacefully in his sleep without pain, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
I used Faskolors paint and Faskoat for the pictures. I also have the year of his birth and the year of his death on the wing, although they aren't visible in this pic.

Mike,

I did do that X5 body. I'm not upset about it at all. I'm like you, I don't mind when people repeat paint jobs I have done. I do it all the time. It's gonna happen sooner or later.

BTW, I LOVE the avatar!

racermac71,

Do you race down here at Rosewood sometimes? I think I have seen your name on the track. If so, I think we have met before. I'm the one that paints Kevin Mac and Mark Painter's cars. Feel free to use anything you see from me. You're right, that's why we post in here

Socal...nice tribute. I'm sure he's proud of ya

As far as paint schemes go, I painted this one for a fellow down in Australia. It is my own scheme, but I'm sure we'll never cross paths

man, it's pushing it for me to drive an hour to race, much less 2-3. I drive off-road anyway. I may make it up to Larry's or something. Maybe Homer's if the stars line up right.
