Just finished two more bodies.
The Honda Civic body is Spazstix Chrome

Every year my club has a grand prix race with nice prizes.
This one was my prize. God knows how long they had it lying
around.

Getting all my racers ready for nats and worlds hasn't left me much time to post anything. I did put one or two of my bodies on E bay, but they sold....also my Jammin X1 is there now...no time for it either,

I don't post here often, but here are some bodies I painted, It's the first time I've used Spaz Stix paints, and I'll freely admit I'm addicted to their line of hard metal colors. Basically they are all candy colors and only look metalic after you back it up with silver,gold or chrome.
These pictures feature candy apple green.

Need some help from the veterans (my inspiration). I am trying to modify last years design:
I would like to add some Pink to it to really make it pop. I did this test run but it just is not doing it. I would love some input on what you would use for the Flor. Green / yellow area. I really like the blue, pink white and crome but the Flor. green and yellow, I don't know. Please Help.

The green needs to be lighter to go with that pink, or try more of a redder pink color to go with that green.
I would look at a darker red with a very bright green/yellow.
Color wheels are great for this stuff, you can get a good one from michaels for about a buck.
Sadly blue/green/yellow and pink make a tough combo!

This color combo really has me stumped. One other thing I am trying to figure out is color order. For the colors shown please tell me the order in which you would apply them including backing coats. the colors are Irridescent Ele Blue, Flor. Pink, Sprint White, Flor. Green and Flor. Yellow. It just seems I am putting a lot of paint on these bodies with all of the backing coats.
The only way to learn and get better is to watch the pros or have them tell you how they do it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
