Yeah, Bob's paint slinging skills sure show on that body. I can't wait to see it in person. Hopefully you take a win at the Tamiya race this weekend for Team RCDriver.

Here is my latest two, done for speedydave. Depending on how the weekend goes, I may have another to post for tuesday.

FasPearl Blue, backed with PasPearl Silver - I leave the blue slightly thinner than usual to add to the metallic look ( better seen in the sun ).

FasCandy Red - Cant see it unless its in the sun, or in person, but the tips are done in candy.

FasRed
FasYellow
FasWhite
Alclad Chrome
then FasBlack for shadows and backing

Most of the paint we use is flat. Just look at the underside of the body. It looks shiny because of the plasitc itself. The only way to get that I'd think would be to paint on the outside or scuff the hell out of the body. But there may be another technique out there that I don't know about.

Default Flat Black

Calvin, I was wondering how you did the black on the two trucks. Did you paint it on the outside or inside? All the cars look sweet!

Model Masters Flat Black on the outside.

The Dodge is flat black but with gloss flames (flames are painted on the inside).

The Ford is flat black, green and white. Everything is on the outside.
