Curious what you guys are doing for backing to protect your work. Especially nitro guys who have fuel and heat from the motor and pipe. I was looking at a body done by one of the well known painters (name slips my mind) but it looked like it was back in a shoegoo like material. Does anyone know what that stuff is called and where to get it?

If you allow your paint to cure for 1-3 days, you can spray a few light coats of lacquer based paint from either a spray can or an airbrush and that should
Protect the paint quite well.

I've heard so e people use Rustolium to seal their work and it works well, but I've never tried it.

My 2nd attempt at airbrushing. Cutting out the venting-holes in this JCon body was a project in itself, lol!
