Thanks everyone. Painting these like this is an incredibly time consuming process, I think my 25 est is very conservative and its something you can't do in a couple of hours. But it keeps the grey matter busy and me out of the misses hair.

Next is another Valvoline and then possibly a Jack Daniels following the V8 Supercar theme.

Wow looks great!!! What paint did you use? Airbrush? Liquid mask? Did you cut out the body after or before paint? Stencils?

Great work!

I use Spaztix, Autoair, and Fascolor some LM and some stencils, the body isn't cut until it sealer is dry and the body is left for a week or so for the paint to key with the plastic. Then I will fit the shell on the weekend ready to scratch on sunday. And yes all painted with an airbrush

My first paint job with an airbrush & liquid mask! My wife gave me a Iwata Revolution for Christmas and I am excited about painting my own bodies. Pretty happy with the results but i need a lot of practice!

Default First paint job

Not exactly what I was attempting, but not bad for my first paint job.

Durango sure does make the prettiest bodies but that paint job makes this Truggy body even hotter!
Looks to me you approached this much the way I do. You looked at the body and let it dictate the lines to you.

Great job!!
