I got another Parma "FIFTY FIVE" body airbrushed this week. I love the look of this body! Its classic stuff. It looks great on a stock Slash. The stock chrome Slash wheels look a wee bit like Cragar SS five-spoke wheels.

I did it with Faskolor paints. To me the classic flames look just right on there. This one I've put on eBay. I'll be interested to see how it does.

That looks smick. Simple and clean is often the best. You have that design down pat now, it looks great.

This is my first attempt at painting an offroad buggy body. I used only rattle cans. Enjoy!

Default Mazda Furai Body

Here's that Mazda Furai body from a page back all painted. The racer wanted it mostly black and silver with hints of color in a few places. This is what I came up with.

Honestly, when I look at this body, I get the feel of an Alien or Terminator type creature. Sort of a biological robot battlebot thing. Does that make sense? So, I added some dark red and dark blue to it in the areas that looked like exposed muscle or tissue. I hope he likes it!

I coated the body with Fasmask and went from there. There's a lot going on there, but with dark colors, you have to look close.

Got one VTA body done last night too. Its the HPI 66 Mustang Fastback. I tried to do as much with paint as I could to eliminate decals. So, the stripes, window outlines and bumpers are paint. HPI gives you decals for those, but if the body is raced, they don't hold up. And, they really have to be worked on radius corners so eventually, a couple of weeks later, they start to lift off too sometimes. This way is much better. Classic lines! I wish I had the real thing in my driveway!

A pair of simple racers for a loyal customer. I painted his first Revo body in 2006.
