My first paint job with Fastmask and a airbrush. I have a long ways to go but I really enjoy it.

Well here it is. LOVE RCS Candy Apple Red!!!! Stuff is like glass . I need to take some better shots of it. I'll take some tomorrow and hopefully they'll turn out better. As per usual, these don't do it justice. I'm actually proud of this one. The Candy Red is backed with that "other brand" of Mirror Chrome. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get better photos? Believe it or not these were taken with my phone.

Jon you were right about the 2 reds but once you get it out in the sun you can definitely tell the 2 apart.

This is all hand cut. I used no stencils to create any of the logos.

Mike E.,

Spectacular job. The candy red really gives it some life.

Latest paint on a 22. Not sure who came up with the star scheme but credit goes to the original designer.

[QUOTE=mxgregg;10664704]My first... I really enjoy it.

I have this exact body, ready to mask and paint, and was thinking about a similar design. I was wondering, in what order, did you lay your colors down? What Chrome paint did you use?

I painted the metal panels first, then the carbon fiber bed, then the RCS chrome then the green and the flames last. You need to be careful peeling around the chrome pin striping as it can peel up pretty easily.
