There are a number of members here, myself included that can cut custom vinyl masks. PM me and I can see what I can do for you.

You got a little bleed through on your edges. No biggie, but if it bothers you you could buy some 1/16" pinstripe tape at the auto parts store or HobbyTown USA and do your edges with it on the outside. Tedious, but you'll be surprised how well it holds up if you clean the body with denatured alcohol or similar first. If it peels or gets damaged, you should have enough left over to redo it at any time.
If you are racing it, and racing it fast, It doesn't matter!

Something abit out of the norm .
I did this effect with a mask, weeding out the first part and spraying the gold and then weeding out the hexagons and shading each one with black and then finishing with gunmetal - tedious process
Thanks Roly, that means a lot - yourself along with people such a Jim, Larry and Luck were people whose work inspired me to pick up an airbrush and give it a go

STEELERS BOMBSHELL #86
Do not let the KMC wheels fool you this BOMBSHELL #86 (how appropriate) went to a terrible towel carrying fan who refuses to rest in the off season.
Not a fan of the skulls, but had to lay it down and keep it subdued.

(leave the hexagons on the vinyl paper and don't use those.)
then simply apply the hexa frame to the body
paint the black shading, take away the mask and spray the gold
this will save you the time of weeding out every hexagon shape individually.
Well I did one this week. Just an 1/8th scale Losi buggy. This racer always goes with the same scheme. Neon Orange! I black out the windows each time. Nothing fancy, but I've done quite a few bodies from short course to B4 buggy the same way for them. I faded the vent scoops is all on this one.
I wanted something to practice on so I used the box I carry my transmitters in to do a flame project. I tried combining brushed paint with airbrushed paint to see what it would look like. I think I like it. Sealed it on with Rustoleum Crystal Clear.
