New body shell for Jason Dyckhoff, that RSC candy apple red backed with base aluminum is just the most awsome colour, looks so deep in real life.

Here's my latest attempt..Lots of ghost farts in the white, lack of patience and experience kept it from being better than is should be, but I cant get myself to realize painting is not a race...
Props go out to Sk3tch for letting me steal the design, and the many tips--thanks man..

Nice work! The fogging in the white can be taken care of with a clean lint free towel(aka diaper) and some alcohol, both before spraying the black and after it dries.
Looks good though!

I like the bodies of course ROF, but I really want to see that teapot and muffin scheme shown in the background on your next body. That would be...um...different!

Any will work it really depends on what look your going for. The fine gives the candy a satin smooth slightly subdued feel while the coarse looks more bass boat like with abit more pop. If you use chrome you get a bright color that really pops.

Run down to your local Harbor Freight and by an HVLP Detail gun. They work great for spraying LMF and they're dirt cheap. $15 and comes with a 4 oz. cup. I've attached a picture of it. You will have to thin the Fasmask in order to spray it. If you get Bob Dively's LMF you won't have to thin it. Spray it right out of the bottle. Just use a little water to thin the Fasmaks. Shake the bottle pretty good for a couple of minutes to make sure it thoroughly mixed then shoot it. It will take SEVERAL coats to achieve the thickness that's needed.

My misses loves that table cloth. Not sure what she we will do when she finds sections cut out of it to make tamplates for RC shells.
Thanks for the kind comments Indy, Jim.
I have an Australian favourite Racing car driver theme. He's over in the US racing Nascar car atm, and i was asked to pout it on a sct, came out pretty good, imagaes later after I've sealed it.
thanks ROF
