Threw this together friday night to race saturday morning. LM in the morning and paint after school... It was still drying during practice lol. Terrible pics, but the blue and gunmetal is beautiful in the sunlight.

Dont pay attention to the car stand... It was one of my first airbrush jobs.

Thanks Josh. I wish I could paint more but it is so hard to fit it in. I just get inspired and paint new bodies for my rides these days.

The body got the win on its first time out! I'm sure it was all due to the body! hahaha. It does say "For The Win"! I guess it didn't lie.

Jon and Josh you asked for it......
Here is one that I just finished up today. It is inspired by BJ Baldwin's desert truck and a cool proline body that I found online. I added some of my own bling to it.

PERFECT!!!!! I hope you dont mind if I TRY (key word is try) that same basic idea on my next body but with different colors

Not at all. Have fun. I have been wanting to try the splatter because you can't screw it up. I just flung the paint with a brush to get the longer splatters and then I loaded a small cofee stirrer with a little paint on the end and blew it on the body. You can vary the effect by how hard you blow.

Default Parma Classics

I'm going to be painting Parma's 56 Nomad and also their 57 Chevy Bel-Air. Any suggestions on the best way to do the chrome trim strip/mouldings on the sides? I'll Fasmask everything, but keeping a straight line free hand with an xacto with outside corners, is tough. I can cut away the outside film and airbrush paint on the outside for those parts. Keeping a straight cut line on an inside corner is much easier. Does that make sense?

Suggestions? Anyone painted these before? I've done the Gangsta (below) and the 34 Ford and the Merc, but those didn't have the details like this.

JUST FOR GIANTS FANS. Quick rattle can job for my short course truck. These bodies don't last long, so I can't bring myself to go too crazy with the paint.

GO GIANTS!
